"I Can Do All Things Through Christ" Philippians 4:13
She believed it and stood on it.
She walked in love with everyone!
"Kim Driscoll" faithful Mother, Grandmother, Sister, friend and more to many, many people from all walks of life. She was energetic, encouraging and eventful! Kim was one of the founding members of the National Women Veterans United, a Not for Profit 501 (c)(3) organization comprising of women that have served in the Armed Forces. She was proud to be a veteran and proud of her Air Force status. Kim was an active member up until her decision to have surgery in September, 2009 and even afterwards when we got a chance to talk with her she would say " we have to do something about what's going on" and she would tell us about what we needed to work on. Kim was humorous and loved to laugh and have fun. Kim truly loved the Lord and stood on his word. She was encouraging to others who needed that lift. When she would feel a little overwhelmed at times as we all do from time to time; all you had to do was mention God and she would take it from there. Kim was proud of the many strides that she made in life and used her past experiences as a witness for what God can do, if you just believe and trust him. Everyone was so excited for Kim when she graduated from Columbia College and she looked forward to someday being a journalist. She loved her family so much and the love she had for her daughter, grandchildren and sister were unmeasurable. She had a big heart and that love was felt by all of us. She was creative and loved to make events festive and pretty.
Kim was active and faithful to her Church and loved her Pastor and all of the congregation! In addition to her faithful work with the National Women Veterans United she worked feverishly for Strike Force at the VA Jesse Brown Medical Center where she was one of their founding members and also with the Coalition of Veterans Organizations (CVO). Kim also served on the Mayor's Veterans Advisory Board. Kim loved sports and Parades! She will be truly missed by all who she ever encountered.....WE loved working, parading, marching and advocating for veterans with you. Rest in Peace sister warrior....We will see you again....
