ART SHOW
(Call for artwork!)
Deadline for artwork: January 3, 2012
Opening Reception: January 6th 5 P.M. – 9 P.M.
We’re looking for help to complete our show, which explores the female veteran experience. If you are a female veteran who would like to have your art included, please send images of your work to Dianna@urbanartretreat.com.
Remember, you don't have to be professional artist to participate!
We have FREE individual art workshops for women vets who would like to create art and possibly have that work displayed in the show. If you’re interested, please express your interest by emailing contact@urbanartretreat.com or calling 773-542-9126 (leave a message) and our art workshop leader will contact you to set up a day/time good for you to come to our art studio to make some art. She has been offering art programming to non-artists since 1971 and understands how non-artists are often hesitant to make art. We are looking for the experience/process of art-making, not just the final product! If you would like to make some art about your life experience before, during, after your military experience, Dianna would very much like to hear from you right away!!!. No experience needed!
Please visit us online at www.urbanartretreat.com.
